Currently, I am enrolled in the class Pets with Personality facilitated by Marilyn Lee through The Academy of Quilting. This is not a buy forever download class. It actually is an online class. A site you should check out if you want to further your learning on line. Their class offerings are constantly changing with classes repeating at different intervals, along with new offerings.

The piecing of Finn took many weeks. I have worked every night on Finn since signing up for the class. I wan't sure about the highlights, but Marilyn said I wanted the contrast. It could be toned down with the thread painting. Now to cut around Finn because he is pieced on sheer material. The material is stretched over the photograph that served as the pattern. Of course, I didn't find the right fabric for the background in my stash. Off to the quilting store to add to my collection. I am on a good path.
