Well, since my last posting, it has been a very busy time. Much time was spent making the pillow covers, placemats, and tea towels for the craft shows. I must admit it was a pleasure watching people ooh and aah over the items I was selling as they chose the ones they would buy. But now, it really is time to get serious and get back to work on my quilts after such a long, and I mean long hiatus.
Poor Finn, he has been in the making for over a year and he still is not finished. He will hang on my design wall for a bit longer because he is not to my liking by any imagination. I just don't know, but I do know the back ground it not what I had hoped. Finn is very much too my liking. I know one problem with the overall problem with the composition is the lack of a focal point.

I am thinking about beading the flowers on the lace to the left of Finn's head. Also, I am considering putting a beaded center in the lace medallions. Taking a second look, I might move the lower left medallion.
I will ponder all this as I begin my next wallhanging. I have much to catch up on.
